FOCUS
Lee Annette Berger’s law practice draws on her experience as a Senior Accountant and CPA with Arthur Andersen LLP, managing financial audits and internal control reviews to work with business clients in corporate contracts and transactions, registration and licensing corporate intellectual property and litigation. She assisted in preparing various SEC filings and performed due diligence reviews in acquisitions and dispositions of corporate subsidiaries.

She is a member of the California Society of Certified Public Accountants, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the American Bar Association, California State Bar Association, Illinois State Bar Association, Women’s Bar Association and Chicago Bar Association.
EDUCATION
Ms. Berger is a 2002 graduate of Loyola University Chicago School of Law, where she was on the Dean’s List for four semesters and won three CALI Academic Achievement Awards. She served as Assistant Editor of The Annals of Health Law Review, was a member of the Moot Court Health Law Team, Student Director of the Tax Clinic, a Research Assistant and participated in a weekly volunteer program working with juveniles at Cook County Juvenile Jail.
During law school, Ms. Berger was a law clerk in the Illinois State’s Attorney’s Office, Bureau of Civil Actions, Medical Litigation, where she assisted in the preparation of medical malpractice trials involving hospitals, doctors and surgeons, and wrongful death actions.
She earned a Master of Business Administration from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, where she was elected to the national honor business society, Beta Gamma Sigma, in 1995 and a Master of Science in Accounting from the University of Southern California in 1994, where she was ranked in the top four of the Masters program and elected to the national honors accounting fraternity, Beta Alpha Psi. Ms. Berger received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Saint Mary’s College of California in 1992.
Ms. Berger is admitted to practice in Illinois and California.
