FOCUS
Kevin J. Clancy is a senior associate with Lowis & Gellen,
LLP whose primary area of practice is commercial litigation,
including significant appellate litigation, in both state
and federal courts. He has over ten years of experience representing
publicly traded corporations, privately held companies as
well as individuals in cases involving breach of fiduciary
duty, contract disputes, business torts, fraud, shareholder
disputes, restrictive covenants, construction litigation, and products liability. He
also has significant experience defending clients in large
consumer class actions, including cases involving auto insurance,
title insurance, and products liability.
EDUCATION
Mr. Clancy graduated magna cum laude from the University
of Illinois College of Law in 1993. He also graduated Phi
Beta Kappa from the University of Illinois with a B.A. in
Economics in 1990. After graduating from law school, Mr. Clancy
served as a law clerk to the Honorable Harlington Wood, Jr.
on the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit.
BOARD SERVICE
Mr. Clancy served on the Board of Directors of Bear Necessities Pediatric Cancer Foundation, Inc. from 2004 through 2007.
