Founded in Diversity
Consistent commitment to diversity comes naturally to a firm founded
by women attorneys. Jennifer Lowis and Pamela Gellen have grown their original partnership
into 50 talented men and women of multicultural backgrounds and nationalities, without
regard to gender, race, religion, age, sexual orientation or disability over the last decade.
The firm does not hire by formula nor in accordance with a strategic program, but by objective
consideration of skills and credentials, actively seeking and encouraging applicants from
Chicago’s numerous diverse law student organizations and bar associations. Lowis & Gellen LLP
traditionally, continuously strives to provide an open work environment that enables our diverse
community of lawyers and employees to achieve personal fulfillment in their work and share in
the future of the firm.
Our experience in each of the cities in which Lowis & Gellen LLP has offices is that our
diversity has a clear impact on our ability to serve our clients. We believe this is because,
just as in business and in politics, diverse thinking empowers vigorous advocacy and creative
problem solving.
Our diverse clients tend to agree.
