FOCUS
Julia Molina Encinas is an associate with Lowis & Gellen. Her
primary practice involves the defense of physicians and hospitals
in medical malpractice claims.
PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITIES
While in law school, Ms. Encinas was a member of the Journal
of Health Care Law. She also interned for the Health Care
Bureau of the Illinois Attorney General's Office and won a
mock civil trial before the Honorable Robert E. Gordon in
the Circuit Court of Cook County. Ms. Encinas is fluent in
Spanish and is a member of the Hispanic Lawyer's Association
of Illinois. She is also a member of the Chicago Bar Association
and the Illinois State Bar Association.
EDUCATION
Ms. Encinas received her B.A. from the University of Illinois
in 2000, graduating with highest honors, Liberal Arts and
Science distinction and as a Dean's List recipient. She received
her J.D. from DePaul University College of Law in 2004.
