Elizabeth M. Smith is an associate attorney in the Medical Malpractice Defense Litigation Group.
EDUCATION
Ms. Smith is a summa cum laude graduate of DePaul University
College of Law (J.D., 2005), was elected to the legal academic
honor society Order of the Coif and was a member of the DePaul
Law Review. As an undergraduate, she attended the University
of Dayton (B.A., summa cum laude, in Psychology, with a minor
in Criminal Justice, 2002), where she was a member of the
Golden Key International Honor Society, a University Scholar,
and elected to the National Society of Collegiate Scholars.
Ms. Smith worked as a summer intern for four years at the
Loyola University Medical Center and at the Loyola Primary
Care Center in Hinsdale, Illinois.
ADMISSIONS
Ms. Smith is admitted to practice in Illinois and before
the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.
She is a member of the Chicago Bar Association, the Illinois
Bar Association and the Illinois Association of Defense Trial
Counsel.
