Ms. Hyun is an associate at Lowis & Gellen. Her primary practices involve commercial litigation, products liability defense, and the defense of doctors and hospitals in medical malpractice claims.
PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITIES
Ms. Hyun is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association.
During law school, Ms. Hyun clerked at the Cook County State’s
Attorney’s Office in the Felony Trials Division. Prior to
law school, Ms. Hyun worked at pharmaceutical companies in
research and development.
EDUCATION
Ms. Hyun graduated from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in chemistry and biochemistry. She graduated with honors and received the Virginia Voss Academic Writing Award for her honors thesis, which was published in the Journal of Biological Chemistry. She received her J.D. from Loyola University Chicago in 2004 where participated in the Honors Appellate Advocacy program and received the award for Second Best Brief in the Thomas Tang Regional Moot Court competition.
