FOCUS
Ms. Kott’s practice focuses on the representation of hospitals, physicians, nurses and healthcare
providers involving multi-million dollar claims of catastrophic injury and death. Ms. Kott also
defends pharmacists and pharmacies in cases involving prescription errors. The majority of Ms.
Kott’s cases have resulted in dismissal without any payment. She has also successfully mediated
numerous favorable settlements prior to trial involving death and serious personal injury.
PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITES
Ms. Kott is a member of the Women’s Bar Association, Chicago Bar Association, and the Illinois
State Bar Association.
EDUCATION
Ms. Kott received a J.D. from Case Western Reserve University School of Law in Cleveland, Ohio.
She graduated with honors with a B.A. from Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri.
