FOCUS
Mr. Levin is a partner with Lowis & Gellen. He has extensive
and varied experience in the defense of health care institutions
and physicians in medical malpractice claims, which involve
catastrophic injuries and death. Mr. Levin also has experience
in cases involving medical products liability and industrial
equipment products liability. Mr. Levin has litigated these
matters in both state and federal courts.
In addition, prior to joining the firm of Lowis & Gellen,
Mr. Levin developed his skills in the courtroom by handling
various state and federal white-collar and blue-collar criminal
defense cases. These cases included complex matters of insurance
fraud, bank fraud and tax fraud.
PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITIES
Mr. Levin is a member of Illinois State Bar Association
and an Evaluator for Chicago Coalition for Law-Related Education,
2003.
EDUCATION
Mr. Levin received his law degree from The John Marshall
Law School in 1992 and B.A. from the University of Illinois,
Champaign and Chicago in 1987.
