FOCUS

Jonathan Loiterman’s practice focuses on healthcare issues, including medical malpractice and pharmaceutical product liability. As a law clerk with Lowis & Gellen, he participated in the establishment of an advanced practice nurse partnership, implemented an innovative relational database management method for organizing medical records, and coordinated medical records among several law firms as part of a multi-district lawsuit and trial involving a global pharmaceutical company.

Mr. Loiterman is the founder of a start-up healthcare industry technology company, and has been a pioneer in the Chicago area in developing data acquisition and process-control systems for healthcare facilities. He developed a cross-platform software prototype for PalmOS and Windows, manages other complex software development, and is currently pursuing a patent on one of his products.

EDUCATION

Mr. Loiterman is a 2008 graduate of Loyola University Chicago. He received his J.D. with a certificate in health law as well as an M.B.A with concentration in accounting. He was Executive Editor of the Annals of Health Law and founder of the Annals of Health Law Wiki. He was a member of the Health Law Society and named to the Dean’s List in 2006 and 2007. He is also graduate of the University of Wisconsin – Madison.
